Harmonized Building By-laws
The Red River Planning District has released a draft of its new harmonized Building By-law, marking a significant step toward modernizing and streamlining building regulations across all member municipalities.
This updated by-law aims to create a consistent framework that supports safe construction, sustainable growth, and improved alignment with provincial standards. By harmonizing regulations, the RRPD seeks to reduce red tape, enhance clarity for builders and residents, and promote efficiency in the permitting process.
Community members, industry professionals, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft and provide feedback to help shape the final version.
