New Proposed Development Plan
On November 20th, 2019 the Red River Planning District Board gave Second Reading to Development Plan Amendment By-law No. 272 / 19, which proposes to adopt a new Development Plan for the entire Planning District.
Creating this new Development Plan been a process of balancing the facts and findings from the comprehensive background research, the needs of our six member municipalities, input from local residents, stakeholders, and Provincial departments, along with the requirements of provincial legislation.
This new Development Plan has been sent to the Province of Manitoba (Minister of Municipal Relations) and is awaiting approval.
